Version 4.1 is our biggest infrastructure release of the year. We rebuilt the engine behind every campaign you send, launched the AI Resolution Agent into general availability, and shipped a stack of fixes that make the day-to-day feel sharper.

Feature Launch: Brand New Campaign Infrastructure

The old campaign engine got us here. It wasn't going to get us to where we're going.

We rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up. The new infrastructure gives you per-timezone sending (your subscribers get messages at the right local time, not your store's time), the ability to schedule campaigns to a specific time of day instead of just a day, and over 800% more throughput globally so big sends finish faster and stop blocking your AI replies and flows from going out in real time.

And the one a lot of you have been waiting on: the permanent "Sending" status bug is dead. Every campaign that was previously stuck has been updated to sent.

No more refreshing. No more wondering. No more support tickets that start with "is this thing actually sending?"

πŸ’‘ Pro tip: If you've been holding off on a big push because of past throughput concerns, this is your green light. The engine was built for the scale you're hoping to grow into, not the scale you're at today.


Feature Launch: AI Resolution Agent

Your AI just got a real job.

The Resolution Agent now handles full customer conversations end-to-end - approving discounts for on-the-fence buyers, answering policy and product questions, initiating returns, and cancelling unwanted orders. When it can't resolve something, it flags the conversation and escalates to your team with the reason attached. When it does resolve something, it logs the resolution reason so you can see exactly what work it deflected.

Billing update: You only pay when the Agent actually resolves a conversation. No resolution, no charge. Charges show up in your invoice view like any other line item, and your current resolution rate is now visible on the billing settings page so you always know what you're paying.

No retainers. No flat AI fees. Just pay for the work it actually does for you.


Feature Launch: Smarter Subscriber List Hygiene

Marketing to a disconnected number is just lighting money on fire.

Our phone number quality detection system now removes undeliverable lines from your audience faster than ever. Invalid, disconnected, and dead numbers get pulled from your header count and every campaign segment automatically, so your list reflects who can actually receive your messages.

You'll see two things change: your reported subscriber count may dip after your next big send, and your ROI on subsequent campaigns should climb. Both are the system doing exactly what it should.

πŸ’‘ Pro tip: If you've been on TxtCart for a while and your list has never been scrubbed, expect a noticeable dip on the first send. That's good news, not bad. You're not losing real subscribers, you're losing dead weight that was dragging down your delivery rates and inflating your per-message cost.


Other Platform Updates

  • Campaign review UI: Trial overage warnings now display correctly on campaigns over $1,000.

  • Knowledge base: Fixed an issue preventing some Shopify policies from ingesting into the AI's knowledge base. All affected stores have been backfilled.

  • SMS segment counter: Fixed a rare character-counting bug that displayed fewer segments than the message actually used. Costs were always calculated correctly, just the display was off.

  • Discount codes: Improvements to our discount code generation for more reliable, higher-volume code creation on large campaigns.

  • All Customers segment renamed to All Promotional Subscribers to match the subscriber count shown in your campaign header.

  • Long store names in the pop-out menu now truncate cleanly instead of overflowing.

  • Flow 8 copy update: The initial message in Flow 8 now includes your shop name, which dramatically reduces "who is this?" replies and accidental spam reports. Applied retroactively to all existing stores and new installs.
